Australian born trombonist and composer Chris Grieve is joined by Steve Hamilton, originally from Aberdeen, one of Europe’s most creative and experienced contemporary pianists, performing a multitude of music from the improvised to pop to film and session work.
Steve has been the pianist for drummers Bill Bruford and Billy Cobham, touring at an international level for almost 20 years now.

FOUR trumpets, FOUR trombones, FIVE saxes and FOUR rhythm! It’s a variable line-up of top-class pro players, who travel in from around Scotland to participate in this outstanding gig. Nowhere else can you hear this standard of regular Big Band playing. Led by saxophonist Keith Edwards, the personnel changes weekly, as does their selection of fantastic arrangements.

Caroline Scott Quartet

Caroline is a Scottish bassist and multi-instrumentalist born in Edinburgh. She has worked extensively in London and across the UK, and has played bass in large-scale productions including the Defying Gravity – West End Women tour and SIX The Musical in the West End. Over recent years, she has played bass regularly with the MOJO Jazz Orchestra, London Gay Big Band, and Surrey Jazz Orchestra.
Caroline studied jazz at Trinity Laban and places small ensemble jazz at the heart of her playing, bringing depth, energy, and musical conversation to every performance.
Her quartet brings together some of Scotland’s finest jazz musicians: Harben Kay (sax), Paul Harrison (piano), and Alyn Cosker (drums).
