The Italian guitarist has a big ambition with his music, and he seems to always pull it off. “A perfect synthesis between writing and improvisation, modern jazz tradition and the desire to discover new horizons” (All About Jazz). Nowhere else can you hear this standard of regular Big Band playing. Led by saxophonist Keith Edwards, the personnel changes weekly, as does their selection of fantastic arrangements.

A versatile pianist who straddles the classical, pop and jazz worlds with ease. Known for her joyful and elegant style of swing jazz and improvisation, Amanda trained in Kansas City (USA) and is a recipient of the 2020 New York Hot Jazz Camp Scholarship. She is currently under the mentorship of Dutch-American stride pianist Bram Wijnands. Drawn to the swing and stride styles of 1930s/40s jazz, Singaporean pianist Amanda Lee is a rare breed in her generation of jazz pianists who strives to embody the roots and spirit of this tradition, bringing this treasured music to wider audiences. She is joined tonight by Andy Robb on bass, Colin Steele on trumpet and Jim Drummond on drums.
