A huge 11 piece outfit led by Gustava Andrade from Sao Paolo and they perform the full spectrum of Brazilian music – Samba, MPB (Música Popular Brasileiro), Bossa Nova, Samba Rock, Axé, Forro, Brazilian soul, Rio Jazz-Funk. So expect to hear the music of Seu Jorge, Jorge Ben, Tim Maia, Gilberto Gil and Djavan amongst many others.

FOUR trumpets, FOUR trombones, FIVE saxes and FOUR rhythm! It’s a variable line-up of top-class pro players, who travel in from around Scotland to participate in this outstanding gig. Nowhere else can you hear this standard of regular Big Band playing. Led by saxophonist Keith Edwards, the personnel changes weekly, as does their selection of fantastic arrangements.
