Celebrating 15 years of The Jazz Bar!

This musical care-package was compiled and arranged by vocalist Ali Affleck during the Coronavirus Pandemic, to help support The Jazz Bar through an extended lockdown period.

We celebrate the anniversary of our opening with closed doors in 2020, but we are truly honoured and humbled by the love and support that has been shown to us in these tough times. This album marks 15 years of The Jazz Bar and stands as a reflection of the impeccable, vibrant local jazz scene that has developed in that time.

The compilation digital album is comprised of 23 stunning tracks from some of the top names of the formidable Scottish jazz scene. These tracks were professionally recorded by the individual artists prior to the Coronavirus outbreak and generously donated to The Jazz Bar for this project.

We hope to be able to re-open soon so that we can continue showcasing Scotland’s world-class music scene. In the meantime, we hope that this album can shine some light in these difficult times.
