Monday 24th
COVID restrictions are finally lifting on Monday 24th and we’ll be back open from 7pm with the 17-piece Big Band (rehearsing from 8pm and performing from 9.15pm). Full listings for the remains of January and through February will follow shortly.
Want some more good news? Jams are back!
From February, we will have two different jam sessions on alternating Tuesdays. Beginning February 1st, there is a brand-new student-oriented (but open to all) jam session run by the Edinburgh University Jazz Society and our regular Great Jazz Jam Sessions will be returning February 8th and running bi-weekly at a new slightly earlier time slot of 8pm to 10.30pm.
There are now no late-night bands on Mon/Tues and we will be closing at midnight on these days but still plenty of time for a wind-down chat after the jazz.
Vaccine Passport Update
Vaccine passports have been updated to include the third booster jab in the definition of ‘fully vaccinated’. An individual is now considered ‘fully vaccinated’ if they have had either a second dose within the last 120 days, but no less than 14 days ago, or, a booster vaccination not less than 10 days ago. The NHS Scotland COVID Status app will automatically display the time since your last dose and let you know if your records are valid. We are also able to accept record of a negative COVID test from the last 24 hours. Vaccine passports do not apply to those who are exempt from vaccination.
Book your booster vaccination here. There are many available appointments at Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
Proof of vaccination must be shown at entry after 9pm, Wed-Sun. Please test before attending.
