TOBY MOTTERSHEAD
Every other month, steel guitar raconteur Toby Mottershead hosts the Sunday Roots Acoustic Showcase, an eclectic selection of acoustic soloists and ensembles taking blues back to its very roots. Balkan, American and Celtic traditional blues and folk in an exploration and celebration of early music with spoken word poetry and original songwriting. Through spoken poetry, shanties and folktales, Toby and co. bring back the communal storytelling nature of early music and weave them into contemporary life.
