The Nigel Price Organ Trio is led by one of Britain’s finest guitarists. Most recently he was included in All About Jazz’s December 2022 poll of the top 200 favourite living pianists in the world. Nowhere else can you hear this standard of regular Big Band playing. Led by saxophonist Keith Edwards, the personnel changes weekly, as does their selection of fantastic arrangements.

Kai Reesu is a freshly formed nu jazz band from Glasgow, blending elements of hip-hop, neo-soul, psychedelic rock & old skool fusion. At its core is the trio interplay of Paul Copeland on keys, Robert McArthur on bass, & Matt Jim Sim on drums, who all formerly made the bedrock of hip hop quintet CROOQ. The rhythm section is then expanded by the enigmatic Alex Palmer on aux. drums, creating a rich and polyrhythmic base for Michael Butcher’s blazing tenor saxophone playing to sit atop of. For this iteration, Kai will be joined by James Mackay on guitar; fresh off touring the UK with corto.alto, James is well known for his wide repertoire of sonic ideas and dynamism. Expect something between J Dilla, Chris Dave, Robert Glasper and Herbie Hancock.
